Ropp Family Favorite: Apple Cider Slushy


This is our family’s go-to treat! It’s super simple, refreshing, and fun—perfect for enjoying our farm-fresh cider in a whole new way. Here’s how you can make your own apple cider slushy:


Ingredients:


• 1 gallon of frozen farm-fresh apple cider


Instructions:


1. Take a gallon of frozen cider out of the freezer and let it sit in your sink for about an

hour to slightly thaw.

2. Carefully cut the top of the jug off and break off pieces of the frozen cider.

3. Place the frozen chunks into a blender and blend until smooth.

4. Pour into a glass and enjoy your homemade apple cider slushy!


No frozen cider? No problem! If you have fresh cider, pour it into your ice cream maker and let it mix until it’s frozen and smooth. You’ll have a delicious slushy in no time.
